We perform DOT Medical Card Medical Examinations for FMCSA  Drivers.

Currently the Price for the Exam is $85.00

Once you make your appointment we  will email you the medical history forms that you can complete ahead of time to make your visit smoother  and faster.

A DOT physical exam certificate  is  typically valid for up to 24 months. The medical examiner (Doctor) may also issue a medical examiner’s certificate for less than 24 months when it is desirable to monitor a condition, such as high blood pressure based on the FMCSA Guidelines.

We typically take calls between 8:00am -4:00pm Monday Thru Thursday  and 8:00AM -3:00pm on Fridays.

 

We also perform DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing -These are separate from the DOT Medical Examination.

Maryland Law concerning the Medical Examiners’s Certificate ( DOT Medical Card ) :
Even if you are not required to have a CDL, you may still need a Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT card).  Maryland law requires you to carry a DOT card if your vehicle:

  • is used for commercial purposes; and
  • weighs more than 10,000 pounds.

Please note that the DC DMV vigorously enforces the validity of the Medical Examination Status for those that hold a DC Commercial Drivers’ License. When your DOT card expires and is not renewed, your Driver’s License will be suspended util you present a current Medical Card to the DMV.
