Preparing for your visit.

MEDICAL EXAM Preparation.

  • Be Well Rested – We recommend at least 7 hrs. of sleep. This affects  everything. Present the  best version  of you  for the  examination of you.
  • We recommend that you complete the online medical history forms that we send to you when you make your appointment.  Doing so can reduce the length of your visit by about 30 minutes.
  •  
  • Please dress comfortably (athletic wear recommended) you will be exerting yourself and you will need ample freedom of movement and range of motion.
  • We will need your medical history including a list of current conditions and medications.
  • Please TAKE your medications AS prescribed by your physician.
  • If you wear Glasses or Contacts , we will need you to come with them.
  • We require Government ID and we will go by the information  on  your ID. If there are changes due to any reason (e.g. legal, marital e.tc.) , please bring supporting documentation.

DRUG SCREENING  preparation:

  • We require ID and we will go by the information on your ID. If there are changes due to any reason (e.g. legal, marital e.tc.) , please bring supporting documentation.
  • Please do not consume an inordinate amount of water or fluid to get ready for your drug screen. Doing so usually results in a DILUTE specimen , whereby a retest is required and your process is delayed accordingly.

STRESS TESTING preparation:

Please notify the physician and test administrator regarding any past or current  heart or cardiovascular issues that you have. Also , please mention any scheduled cardiological test , workups or any cardiological referrals or advice.

Do not to eat, drink for at  least 2 hrs. period of time before a stress test

Avoid caffeine the day before and the day of the test.

If you are not normally very active (if you do  not exercise  regularly)  you may want to do some cardio work out daily for a few days  in  the  week before  your test , this will better condition  you  for  the test ( Important: Avoid strenuous exercise on the day of the test and the day before the test)
